Unfortunately these capture settings cannot be changed or modified. Following is a screen shot of the ShowBiz capture window: Notice that the video device listing only shows the VideOh! Adapter being used. This is misleading, however, since the audio device may default to an installed sound card (in this example a 'Monster Sound II Record.

The reason why the ArcSoft ShowBiz software will not allow for video capture with either a composite or S-video connection from the VideOh! adapter is because Showbiz requires a separate camera driver for its capture function. Since the camcorder is attached to the VideOh! adapter, a composite device, there are no camera drivers installed. Thus ShowBiz will not detect a camcorder attached through the unit. Unfortunately these capture settings cannot be changed or modified.

What to notice is that the Settings
button, the Format
button and the Input
button cannot be selected to make changes to a composite or S-video device. Once again, the capture function cannot be changed or modified.
The workaround to this is to simply capture video with the Sonic MyDVD software. MyDVD will allow the user to change the capture settings to accommodate the VideOh! adapter. After capturing video with MyDVD, simply import the clip into ShowBiz for editing.
Note: this same usage applies to the output of video in ShowBiz as well.
